Meet Your Candidates: The Community Councils of Sugar House, East Liberty and Ballpark are holding a meet the candidates event at the Jewett Center on Westminster College Campus on July 27th from 6-8 pm. This event will include District 5 and District 7 candidates. Please come out, ask your questions and meet your candidates.
Community Events: We are bringing back Night Out Against Crime to the Eastside.In coordination with National Night Out Against Crime, we will be holding a Sugar House version of this event. It is on August 1st from 6-8 pm at Fairmont Park. We are working with Boys & Girls Club, Fairmont Aquatic, Sugar House Chamber, Westminster College, Bicycle Collective and SLC police. Come be a part of a great community event!

There are a lot of great things happening in the park from a new off-leash dog park, a new playground, upgraded turf on the soccer field, soon to be open pickle ball courts and a coming pond restoration project.

This project was approved by the Planning Commission.
1701 S 1100 East (Former Salt Lake Costume Building) has filed an application for a Planned Development to renovate the existing building into 19 apartment units. This is a Planned Development because they want decorative balconies and planters that project 18” into the required front and corner side yard, 5’ of additional building height, and 3 water tower stealth antennas on the roof of the building.

- Sept 6: Sugar House Community Council meeting at Legacy Village Sugar House at 7 p.m. at 1212 E Wilmington Avenue. The meeting will be held on the 5th floor, in the Fairmont Room. There is ample parking in the parking garage.
