27 Nov Chair Report
December 19th from 6-8pm the Sugar House Community Council will be holding a meet and greet in the upstairs room of the Wasatch Pub. All are welcome. Let’s talk all things Sugar House. For more details check us our at Sugar House Community Council Facebook page.
Bidding goodbye to Lisa Adams:
The election is over and we have a new City Council District 7 Representative… Amy Fowler! Amy Fowler will be a great advocate for Sugar House and we look forward to working with her for the next four years. We would like to thank Lisa Adams for her service, dedication and passion over the last four years. It is awesome that we can continue to call her a friend of the Sugar House Community Council.
Santa Shack:
Santa is here! This is the 72nd year Santa has been in Sugar House. What a tradition! Photos may be purchased or people are welcome just to visit. Come see him at the Santa Shack on Wilmington Plaza at 2232 S. Highland Drive. Monday-Friday 3:30-7:30 pm. Saturday 11 am-7:00 pm. You can find additional information on the Sugar House Santa Shack Facebook page.
Construction Update:

Donation:
Please consider donating to the Sugar House Community Council on #GivingTuesday (November 28th). While we are run by volunteers, we have costs associated with vintage sign storage, holiday decorations, events and our outreach and communications. We also need to update and improve our website, which will add a few thousand dollars to our budget this year.
Location of the next SHCC meeting:
Legacy Village is kind enough to host us again in December. We will be meeting on December 6th from 7-9 pm on the 5th floor in the Fairmont Room. The address for Legacy Village is 1212 East Wilmington Ave.
