Christmas Street – The Tradition Continues
Christmas Street started 72 years ago in 1947! The tradition began with each house on Glen Arbor Street connected by a single strand of white lights. Now, the neighborhood continues the tradition by having all the houses decorated based on each household’s unique style. It remains one of the longest-standing Christmas traditions not only in the Salt Lake City, but in the nation as a whole.
