26 Apr SH LUZ REPORT 2021 MAY
On April 19, the SH Land Use Committee met, we discussed the Alta Terra Sugar House project at 1121 Ashton Avenue, the former 24 hour fitness location. Here is a link to the latest drawings submitted to Salt Lake City for review. https://bkvgroup-my.sharepoint.com/:b:/p/swatkins/EernuiK_c0RAi_tIBlxg2QUBxtIk94imxYqSERhUiS6qKA?e=b0bycS. All the details are on the slides about the number of units, the micro units, which will have a lower rent and smaller size, and the Town Homes. I’m sure we will see it several more times as it gets finalized and goes to the Planning Commission.
Stratford Avenue T-Mobile Conditional Use – T-Mobile, represented by Britton Knaphus, is requesting to increase the size of an existing antenna array mounted on an existing utility pole in the rear yard of the subject property located at 1596 E. Stratford Avenue. The subject property is located within the CN (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district and within Council District 7, represented by Amy Fowler. (Staff contact: Kelsey Lindquist at (385) 226-7227 or kelsey.lindquist@slcgov.com) Case Number: PLNPCM2020-00979 Action: The Planning Commission approved this March 25, 2021.
We just received a proposal for an Accessory Dwelling unit on top of a garage at 738 E 1700 South. This will modify the loft that currently exists above the garage, there will be no changes to the exterior of the current garage. Here is a link to the project and plans. And, we received another petition for a rezone of an apartment building at 1945 S 1300 East. I have not yet put this on our website, watch for it coming soon.
These items will be on the next Land Use and Zoning meeting May 17 at 6 p.m. for the ADU and 6:20 for the rezone.
If you provide a comment about either project, you will receive a link to the zoom meeting.
